If you would make a guess --- how many hours does an average American spend online each week? They must have polled non-Realtors, the average is 13 hours each week.
20% of internet users on online for just two hours or less per week, and 14% are online for more than 24 hours per week.
As the internet is becoming more and more popular, the time spent online has increased steadily from 7 hours in 1999 to 14 hours in October 2008. This increase is attributed to the growing variety and availability of sites and applications, in addition to the explosion of online TV and video entertainment, shopping options, real estate listings and the ability to research situations. It might also be recession-related; spending time online is cheaper than going out.
