One of my favorite commercials right now is the GEICO commercial with Elmer Fudd.

Elmer was a favorite of mine when I was young, and I still like him, so when I was at the San Diego Zoo last week, I was reminded of Elmer Fudd when I was watching the California condors:

CAUTION: Proceed at your own risk.

You're willing to take the risk?

Alright.

Carry on.

I warned you, but you didn't listen.

I love that Elmer Fudd commercial too. Thanks for the warning on the photos... I ignored it and continued to look at them while eating lunch haha.

Ewwwww! I may never eat anything, ever again! :( Poor little bunny! Question: What type/brand of camera and equipment are you using?

Hey, Aaron - It's funny how warnings usually cause people to go further. Then when they see what they saw, they wish they really had listened to the warnings.

Hey, Liz and Bill - I guess that's the difference between Elmer and these California condors. LOL

Hey, Phly - These pictures were taken with my new handy dandy Canon 550D (Rebel T2i) with a Tamron 75-300 mm zoom lens, which is my standard walkaround lens.

Hey, Ann - Zoey the Cool Cat is an indoor cat, so I don't have the problem with bits and pieces of birds, gophers, mice, etc. I don't miss that specific problem at all. LOL

Hey Russel, I think it all depends on the first animal you see and therefor root for.  I knew the condors had to eat something -- so I was not shocked.

I was out showing houses a few weeks ago and saw about 5 vultures hovering over some road kill, and I really wanted to stop to take a picture, but I thought the buyers would get turned off, so I don't have a picture -- except in my mind.

@ Russel - Very nice! I have a Canon XTi and with a Canon 75-300 mm zoom lens. (I'm not a brand snob, it and three other lenses came with the camera when I bought it. Tamron makes good stuff. ) Personally I'm partial to my 28-105 mm, it's good for an everyday sort of lens.

Russel, It is funny how you warned us and we all went on ahead and looked.  Human nature, huh?

Ewwww, you were right Russel, you warned us but no, we wouldn't listen!!  Unfortunately, well fortunately, but unfortunately, we have not had tv for over a year now so we haven't seen that commercial although we did like the Geico commercials.

Russel,

OK, I read it.

Next time, I'm going to need a better warning.

The poison label would be nice!
