Orange-Ulster BOCES Offers New "Second Chances" Program

A new program called "Second Chances" will be offered by the Orange-Ulster BOCES Office of Adult and Continuing Education. The new program plans on supporting young people in obtaining their GED. The program will work with youth between the ages of 16 through 21 who are not currently enrolled in school.

This is a good program.  Without a high school diploma these Young people will not have a future.  Getting the diploma will allow them to go on to college.  Any investment in the young people could certainly provide a good ROI, less dependency.

Getting that GED is something a lot of high school drop outs talk about but never do. Hopefully, this publicized program will get them back into the classroom.

i am interested on getting my ged....but i have children is ther any aditional hel that i can get ...like a teacher coming to my house or something like that,,,,,,,because i have a friend thats getting her ged to but someone goes to her house...that would be easer for...

My son did his ged. I am very proud. However I wanted to know if they do graduation for those who passed it
