Chili's in Roanoke VA

Have you ever wanted food from a specific restaurant and the knowledge that your town didn't have it made you crave it even more?

Last night I was in my home in Roanoke Virginia finishing up some work when my wife asked the dreaded question: "What do you want to eat?"

"I thought you had that figured out", I stated.

I jokingly threw out the idea of Chili's, knowing that we didn't have a Chili's in Roanoke. I quickly realized that this was big mistake, because from that moment on all either of us could think of was eating at Chili's.  Why do I do this to myself?

Now, Roanoke isn't a huge town, but its not small either.  I have been in and lived in many, much smaller towns that, have easily supported a Tex-Mex restaurant along with their others.  It only makes sense to me that we get a Chili's in Roanoke VA.

I am not much of a petition guy and don't even thing one would do any good, but if we can show enough interest in the Roanoke Valley for a Chili's, we might get somewhere.  While writing the post I found a previously established Facebook page.  So, go join the Bring Chili's to Roanoke Facebook page and find out who else is supporting our cause.

As always, If you are thinking of starting a home search in the Roanoke Valley you can do so from here.

Well, you have to start somewhere Bruce. A facebook petition is as good as any. :)  I'll check it out.

I feel your pain, Bruce. The first time I ever visited Houston back in 1973 as a Freshman at Texas A&M University, we ate at Chili's on Westheimer. I've been addicted ever since. There are two of them near me here, both within five miles. It's just a question of whether I want to go north or west. LOL
