Hi Russel, I love the San Diego Zoo! Glad that he reindeer made it safely back and and adjusting to the sunshine.
The San Diego reindeer deserve a nice vacation after doing all that work for Santa last Christmas and earlier this year.
Hope they have their sunscreen.
Russell, the reindeer didn't "mysteriously" disappear! Everyone knows that had a previous engagement they had to attend to! ;-)
I love it Russel! Are you a secret "Santa's Helper?"
I never knew where the Reindeer went for vacation. HA! Thanks for letting me know :-)
When I was a kid, I did think they were santa's deer!
Love how you see the downy fuzz on their antlers Russel.
The fawns are in our backyard in training for the big flight....!
Now where are the elves? And where is Rudolf? He was always my favorite!
Russel, great shots as usual. Get some current ones with the velvet off the antlers.
Good one, Russel! Pretty nice that the zoo arranges for these seasonal working vacations for the San Diego reindeer.!
Hi Russell, I love that picture of your kitty! By the way, I have signed up for Rain Camp and hope to meet a fellow Aggie! Tiffany
Russell...didn't they come back a little too soon--we went to the zoo there many eons ago when in the area. It was a good experience even though I don't remember the deer. Actually, after the walk in the sun I really don't remember anything else that was there either. We Michiganders / Michiganians usually don't have +90 temps.
But, this Sunday & or Monday, we are scheduled for 94* & 92* respectively--bring on the sunshine. Have a great Holiday.
Love that 'mouth photo' of your buddy--so cool.

Russel, great photos! The Zoo in San Diego is amazing! We need to go back there one of these days!
Hey Russel, I think I can see the velvet on those anlers. Nice shot.
I love all your animal pics-- but Zooey the Cool Cat is the best! Here are my latest of Franky & Malibu!
Franky ♥ + Malibu!
Hey, everyone!
Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
I've been very busy, but today I'm trying to follow up on these older posts like this one to see if anyone had any questions or if I really need to respond to anyone's comments.
I will read all the comments and respond to any that need a response, but since this post is rather old, rather than making comments here in my post to each and every one of you, I'll just let everyone know that I have read all the comments and if there are any questions, I'll answer those in comments below this one. Otherwise I'll simply post this comment and then head over to your blogs soon to visit and do some reading and commenting. I hope you'll have a nice welcome mat out for me!
Don't forget to let your cat come out to play with all the other ActiveRain kitties. Your cat-friendly dogs can come, too!
If you need a great cat book, get yourself a copy of Peg Silloway's The Cat Lover's Book of Days.
Hope all is well with everyone.
