Most of us never think of ourselves as thieves.  At least I don't.  However, I heard a really good sermon this morning that got me thinking.  Stealing doesn't necessarily mean taking something physical, like a car, away from its rightful owner.  We can steal just about anything, including blogs.

Okay, I admit, I've cheated in school before, but that was many years ago.  In fact, I was quite creative at cheating every now and then.  But I can say that I haven't stolen a blog.

Now I am borrowing this drawing of the ten commandments, and I would gladly give credit to its creator - this drawing, not the actual ten commandments Creator, okay?  I tried to find the artist, but to no avail.

Anyway, I've heard of some Active Rain members plagiarizing from other members or writers and posting it on their blog.  This is stealing, plain and simple, right?

Be original.  Be creative.  Write your own stuff, even though you may think that it's dreadfully boring. But don't steal blogs.  You'll be breaking the eighth commandment.
