If you're like us, you find yourself way too often on the run and having to change your dinner options!  Culver's has become one of our favorite "go to" places. Culver's is relatively new to the Cincinnati area, with the Mason location and also one in Hamilton.  The company originated out of Wisconsin and is spreading with good quality food at reasonable prices. 

They're not fast food in the typical sense.  Everything is made to order and fresh, and you have the option to eat inside (or outside weather permitting), or to go to the drive through.  Either way the process is similar.  Place your order and pay and you'll get your drinks and frozen custard immediately.  The rest you have to wait for either at your table or in your car.  They give you a numbered marker to place on your table or car, and the friendly staff will bring you your food as soon as it's done.  It'll be hot and good tasting. 

The menu is pretty broad for a drive through.  Their chili dogs are NOT coneys, but a good size dog covered in non-Cincinnati chili and other fixings as requested.  There's also a variety of burgers (Culver's Deluxe Single is my personal favorite), Liz loves the fish sandwich and the unsweetened ice tea, but there's also melts, prime rib sandwich, salads, fried chicken and plenty of other choices.  We've yet to find anything that we didn't like! 

And they understand how to execute spicy!  Too often when you get spicy food (Wendy's we're talking to you!), there's no real kick to the food.  Try an order of Culver's Chipotle Cheese Curds and you'll have a definite tingle.  The onion rings and fries are also good! 

And when you're done, if you have room, they have frozen custard and sundaes.  A few are always available, or made to order.  One of the unique things with Culver's is the Flavor of the Day.  Each day, you get a different selection, available in cup or cone, one, two or three scoops.  Our personal favorite is Chocolate Eclair.  Plenty of chunks of eclair, filling and syrup on a nice vanilla custard.
