Real Estate Good News Bad News

Many years ago while I was still practicing real estate law in sunny Sequim, Washington, a Realtor came in, and I asked him, "How's the real estate market?"  His posture immediately spoke volumes as his shoulders slumped, he leaned heavily on one foot and put his hands in his pockets.  Then he sadly said, "This has been the worse month of my career.  The real estate market is just dead."  LATER that same day another Realtor walked into my office, and I asked him the same question.  He stood tall and looking right at me he said, "I just had my best month ever in real estate.  I love this business!"  Good times, bad times.  Kind of depends on your perspective (and skill and attitude), doesn't it?

Attitude is a big factor in success.  You just have to keep moving forward and know that phone will ring for the next deal.  You have to stay positive.

Chuck, take advantage now when all those agents have their hands in their pockets.  I never really see a bad market there's only a time when you must redirect your energies.
