The June Realtor Caravan for the upcountry area of Makawao and Pukalani had 6 great new listings, and nothing over $650,000.  Prices are down and that's good news for Maui buyers.  None of these are bank owned or short sales.

Maui County Real Property Tax rates will be going up in some categories, in the new fiscal year starting July 1, 2010.  The Homeowner Occupant rate is going up from $2/$1000 to $2.50/$1000.  AG is going up from $4.50 to $5.00.  Let me know if you want more details.

Hi Georgina...I noticed that three of them have ocean views, one of which with expansive ocean views.  That's for me.  Almost any type of water will do.  I just want to be able to feast my eyes on it.
