NASCAR HQ may be in Daytona * where the France family originally established the sport * however the HEART is in North Carolina around the Charlotte area where the new NASCAR Hall of Fame was just opened.
Many of the drivers live around the Lake Norman area and have second homes in Florida or around their individual business interests such as Tony Stewart's home in Indiana and Matt Kenseth's home in Wisconsin.
