It's America's birthday weekend a good time to kick back and celebrate our freedom on the 4th of July! Celebrations can be found all over Metro Denver in parks and stadiums.
Here is a list of the places offering 4th of July Celebrations, please note, some are on the 3rd not the 4th!
Lutz/Stenger Sports Complex west of Kipling on W. 58th Avenue. The fireworks are set to a musical simulcast on KOOL 105.1. The celebration begins at 3 p.m. go to Arvada for more information

Fireworks at 9:30 p.m. on July 4, on the west side of Aurora Municipal Center lawn. Aurora offers the largest fireworks display in the metro area and with a performance by the U.S. Army Band from Ft. Carson. 25 minutes of fireworks simulcast on KEZW featuring patriotic music. For more information go to Aurora

Southlands Mall will not be presenting fireworks this year.
Folsom Field at the University of Colorado are offering fireworks at 9:30. The gates open at 8 pm. with the program beginning at 8:30. Admission to the fireworks display is free. Information about event parking and shuttle buses can be found at: Boulder 4th of July
Friendship Park Fireworks begin at 9 p.m. at 8th and Southern St. on July 4th. Celebration activities begin at 6:00 music,concessions and other activities in the park welcom all. For more information go to BrightonCo

The Great American Picnic and Fireworks Extravaganza will be held at Broomfield County Commons, 132nd and Sheridan. The big party will beheld at Metzler Ranch Park, 4175 Trail Boss Road. Events for kids, live entertainment and fireworks. The celebration begins at 6 p.m. and ends with a fireworks show at 9 a.m. More information can be found at the Town of Castle Rock.
Dick's Sporting goods Park is the location where after the Rapid's game the 4th of July fireworks will begin. The Colorado Rapids vs. New York Red bulls MLS game starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are required to enter stadium. A pregame "4th Fest" festival begins prior to the game, featuring food, interactive elements, family activities and live bands! A free concert follows the game staring Meese. July 3rd: Fireworks and Colorado Symphony concert at Civic Center Park
beginning at 8 p.m. This free event kicks off the Biennial of the Americas and The Colorado Symphony's summer season. Lawn seating is available on first-come basis; blankets or low rise concert/beach chairs are encouraged. In the event of bad weather the event maybe canceled or just start late.

Cherry Creek Arts Festival
takes place July 3-5 for the 18th year. The ffestival weekend event is a world class celebration of the visual,
culinary and performing arts. The CCAAF is located in Denver's Cherry Creek North Business District

Saturday July 3rd, Denver Colorado National Golf club will have a fireworks show at 9 p.m. Free festivities begin at 4 pm. with a kid's fishing tournament free of charge. At 5 p.m. the giant kid's play land opens with jumpy castles, climbing wall, slides, clowns, games, firetrucks and vendors with food. The fireworks are shot from the golf course and the driving range becomes the sitting area. Saddleback Golf Course is the site of the fireworks launch on the 4th. The event features a parade with over 60 entries, vendors and craft exhibitors, a carnival with Crabtree Amusements from July 204th. Georgetown offers a wonderful firework celebration on July 4th at dusk. The show can be viewed from Georgetown Lake or city Park. Take I-70, exit 228. More details can be found at Georgetown.

July 3 celebrate in Lakewood at the Jefferson Conty Sports Stadium, 500 Kipling Street (just south of 6th Ave.) Art activities, game and rides for the kids, live music and a beer garden for the adults and food and fireworks for the entire family. A spectacular fireworks show will be launched from the baseball fields at Cornerstone Park on July 4th. A Saturday, July 3 celebration will be held at Bandimere Speedway. Gates open at 3 p.m. Get discount tickets at Big O Tires locations and advance tickets can be purchased at White Fence Farm, Mardel, and the Bandimere Speedway's Box Office. Fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. over Webster Lake at E. B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park, 117th Avenue and Community Center drive (S.E. Beginning at dusk there will be a fireworks display at Westminster City Park soccer field. located at 105th Avenue and Sheridan Blvd. Food vendors open at 6 p.m. with a free concert by The Nacho Men beginning at 7 p.m followed by fireworks at 9:15. Parking is very limited, it is suggested to use the shuttle bus from many locations in the Westminster/Hyland Hills area. Grills, Fireworks and glass containers are not allowed at the event.
