IRONY!

FAST FOOD ANYONE??. . . . THE DOCTOR IS WAITING!!

NEW KFC AND TACO BELL - FAST FOOD IN PURCELLVILLE, VIRGINIA.

DOCTORS OFFICES JUST A FEW FEET AWAY.

I LOVE THIS!! There's a new KFC / TACO BELL in Purcellville, Virginia. About 50 feet away is a new commercial building occupied by medical offices.

Just think. You can get your fast food on a regular basis and right on the same corner is a doctor ready to prescribe heart, cholesterol and high blood pressure or diabetes medication.

AH! The irony.

Lenn - A local major hospital recently in the Toronto area closed a main floor lobby satellite food outlet with lots of great healthy food. They also replaced the cafeteria with lots of healthy food including a salad bar with a franchise operation that has some good food but is more into selling donuts and other pastries. I wasn't too pleased.

There is a gym in my area that is smack dab in the middle of an area of multiple fast food eateries.

Michelle. Good question. We could probebly predict by observing the girth of the office staff.

Kesha. I loughed out loud the first time I drove by that corner and saw the KFC going up. The medical office building was finished about 6 months before.

Lana. Good for you. My gym is about 1/2 hour away and I get there 3 mornings early. On off days, I've got a treadmill in my basement. I get a good workout shooting clay targets too.

Dorie. I'd be shocked, but not too shocked. It would defy logic that anyone working in a doctors office witnessing the results of poor diet daily would eat that stuff.

Tricia. Absolutely. Funny.

Jeff. Indeed. Seems that the worse the health of Americans, the more fast food places open.
