Residents of Kenilworth can participate in any of the above park district events. And whether you live in Winnetka, Wilmette, or Glencoe, you can see that there are plenty of activities to keep your day busy. In addition, many residents close off their streets (by Village approval, of course!) and organize block parties and neighbors, friends, and relatives can get together and enjoy the high point of summer.
Happy Fourth of July - and let's not forget that Independence Day is a national holiday, celebrating our nation's adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, that declared our independence from Great Britain. Let the fireworks begin!
