16 Comments on Another Working Holiday Weekend
You know when we do what we do, weekends and holidays usually never happen! I think Consistency is with you, not her cousin In Consistency....................be glad you never met their other cousin In Continent.............she's a mess. Hopefully you'll have good weather and a great 4th Geri.
Well thanks Roger, your remark may have just introduced me to Ms. (In) Continent.
I certainly hope not my friend..............make it a great 4th Geri..........love your sense of humor.
Geri - I actually ended up with a 3-day weekend this time around, thankfully. However, it did rain...a LOT!
Geri, even though this is something that had to be done prior to settlement, I think sometimes we allow are clients to control our schedule way too much. This holiday is important to you and your family, and you can't get that luxury of time back and those special moments to spend with them. I realize that now, but only after the fact. I am just hoping others read this blog and find another way to work around clients controlling us, instead of us controlling them and our time.
Hope they brought you back some coffee too.
We do what it takes, don't we? And it never fails going out of town, holiday, someone needs us. And the "needs us" is what keeps me going cheerfully.
Have a good day.
Margaret
Well sorry you didn't get your day, but how great is it to be busy again!!!
You'll get no complaints from me about being busy. Thanks for stopping by.
I am sorry that your holiday was interrupted. I got away but it was hard work to leave! Hope your closing went well.
Went out to get coffee-uggg Ive been in those shoes. Like the others though glad you are busy. BTW, I really like your guestbook map. I tried to add one to my page but found that I may need to seach for a tutorial on that.
The last 15 minute "walk-through" I had like that turned into a two-hour INSPECTION; 'Dad' showed up to help out, and from there it all went down-hill. Although all repair items had been negotiated and fixed by professionals AND reinspected- TWICE, 'dad' had to make sure everything was good to go. Dad's a great guy, so we waited patiently while he did his thing- and we went on to close on the best house in the best neighborhood and a very REASONABLE price we could find for his only daughter- all's well!

As they say Steve, all's well that ends well.
Well as a Merrick transplant to San Francisco, I hope your July 4th was a bit warmer than ours here!
Margaret, I believe we had the hottest summer on record here. It was beastly. First time I'm happy summer is almost over. How long have you been in San Francisco?
Russell, Great fireworks pic! I can't recall the last DAY OFF I had. I think it was when I had double pneumonia last year, but I was too sick to care. LOL!
Weekends? What are THOSE? Oh, yeah - open house!
