We’ve had such a great time watching all the firework displays in Murphy, NC and over in our neighboring GA and TN mountains. The whistles, cannon–like sounds and colorful fireworks bursting in the sky unite us all as we celebrate Independence Day.
Back out in the garden today we saw a different type of display come up from this Dandelion. Doesn’t it look like its celebrating with us too?

Lee & Carol, this is just awesome! I tried to do something like this a few weeks ago with the close up thingie on my new camera, and it was nothing special. This is amazing.

Lee & Carol ~ What a awesome photo you took and yes it does look like a firework of its own. I spent mine in Tx. this year. Franklih has a great display every year. I have not been over to Murphys.

Lee and Carol, this is wonderful! Reminds me of how Williamsburg Va manages to decorate for Christmas without using a single glittering lightbulb or plastic Santa! Beautiful!

Beautiful photo. Funny how so many see the Dandelion as just a weed to be eliminated. It is edible and quite a curious flower.
