Baldwin County YPN at work

NAR has recently approved the Baldwin County Association of Realtors charter for the Young Professionals Network (YPN). YPN chapters encourage members to take on leadership roles, refine business skills, volunteer in community events, and network through social events and online media.

 Jay Jennings with Pendulum Properties, LLC has been selected as the Chairperson, Mike Steward, Vice-Chair, and Doug Grantham, Membership Director. "I am very excited to help influence the future leaders and REALTORS of Baldwin County through the positive efforts our YPN group offers. We have some talented people on board with an enthusiatic member base which continues to grow daily. Today's succesful REALTOR has embraced new technologies & business models which we have incorporated along with the knowledge passed down by our mentors and veteran agents. It's a challenging yet exciting time to list & sell real estate in Baldwin County, the Young Professionals Network purpose is to ensure our members are more than capable to carry out those responsibilities."

  The typical YPN Realtor is 40 years of age and under, is a member of the Baldwin County Association of Realtors, and wants to make a positive impact to the group and the community. Joing the YPN is absolutely, and the group is looking for corporate sponsors and affiliates to help promote and encourage real estate related commerce & realationships.

The local group has already created a volunteer oil spill response team, and will be hosting the David Green & Hallie Dixon mixer on Tuesday, July 6th at the Wyld Palms condo clubhouse in Foley, AL at 6pm. All local REALTORS are invited to attend, and potential YPN members are encouraged to join. "YPN will continue to host these valuable events for our members on a monthly basis, while the ability to give back to the communities we serve is a focus we look forward to expand on."
