USDA Rural Development Loans in Maryland are going strong! I made this video on June 14th and mentioned that Envoy Mortgage is closing USDA Rural Development Loans in Maryland and if you call me within 48 hours I will close the deal by the June 30th to ensure the $8k tax credit and we did it! I had three closings that week and they ALL closed on time Woo Hoo!!!
The biggest problem I run into is real estate agents who are aware that the bill has not been funded but not know that there are still "very few" lenders who are closing USDA Rural Development Loans in Maryland. - 3.5% up-front funding fee (can be financed)
- Most areas in Maryland qualify (call to see if your address qualifies)
- There are household income limit restrictions - 92k in Southern Maryland (call for limit in our area)
- The bill to fund the program has not (as of today) been funded however Envoy Mortgage can close them
