During the spring of 1910, this dynamic woman of great wealth and international business renown showed up in the little known Sarasota and immediately fell in love. She built not only her own home, but Sarasota homes for many of her friends and relatives to join her in the little jewel on the Gulf she had discovered. She knew it was special.
