VIRTUAL TOURS....WHAT'S THE SKINNY?

VIRTUAL TOURS…ARE THEY PASSSE? What do you really need to have for our clients when we take their listings? What do the buyers really want to see….especially for a home that is a first or second home.

Today, a colleague and I took a listing together and the sellers particularly requested a virtual tour, which I had begun to feel were passe, but I had not found a satisfactory replacement. My favorite photographer left the area, so I needed to shop around for new tour company.  We wanted to get the best product out there for our clients but to my dismay, I found most of the tours boring, the ones that pan up and down made my particularly dizzy and the ones with the recorded voices saying be sure to contact the listing agent with no name really embarrassing.

I've  begun to think that my deluxe wide lens Cannon can do a better job then what some of these professionals are doing out there. My camera does a mean panorama. I also think I can do a better voice over…. What are you all doing? Is there something better out there. I’d love to hear your feedback?

Hi Anita~  I would think a good VIDEO tour would be so much better than any virtual tour!
