Imagine not being uncomfortable -ever- about approaching a FSBO.
Imagine that FSBO calling you back just to chat about your visit and how much he enjoyed it.
Imagine, if you will, being asked to come back and talk a little more.
The above was my very first experience visiting a For Sale By Owner. All I did was to show him how much more he could sell his house for by going green. Believe you me, he was interested.
As a former teacher I know what that was all about: The Power of Education.
But it is not quite as easy as it sounds. BOTH adults and children hate to be taught, but both love to learn. At the same time, Consumers hate to be 'sold' but they love to buy.
When I approach people, my main mission is to make friends. A deal may make me money, a friendship brings a fortune.
I, in turn, bring people a wealth of information (about 6 pages worth, in a nice binder -presentation is everything). I give my materials freely and with gusto. I want people to know I am an expert in the field and that I know how to make "it" happen.
"It" being the wonderful combination of going green and making money.
And hey....wouldn't you know it. Money is green!
