"Celebrate Today" Champaign Music Festival: Happy 150th Birthday, Champaign!
This weekend July 9-10 Champaign, Illinois will host the second major event celebrating this city's 150th birthday!
"Celebrate Today" will begin with a music crawl through downtown Champaign on Friday evening, and will carry into Saturday with more events including...
- free birthday cake
- historical walking tours
- face painting
- inflatables for the kids
- a karaoke stage
- and more!
Friday's music crawl is from 6pm til midnight. Venues throughout downtown Champaign will have live music!
Saturday's fun goes from noon til 11pm and will also be taking downtown with most events outdoors.
Most of the downtown area from University Avenue to Washington will be roadblocked, so come prepared! You can check out the full list of activities and map of the area here.
