Dallas Fort Worth Real Estate- Back But Not Fully

While the Dallas real estate market is on the rise from 2009 it still has yet to fully recover from the tough economical times of previous years that have been hitting the real estate market so hard. This has been an iffy year for the Dallas real estate market as the start was an all time low in sales over the last three years.

The average selling price of homes are yet higher than that of 2009.  What does this mean for Dallas.  The real estate market is beginning to show slow steps in recovering.  Whether this will be short lived and we see another plummet in the market, there is no certainty.  For now, however, it is a good time to purchase a home.  Banks
are lending, the selection of homes on the market is high, and there are many ready to make a good deal.

In the latest Case-Sheller report Dallas Fort Worth home prices have jumped 3%- obviously for investors the time to invest is now, before the prices continue to climb.  Resale’s have jumped an amazing amount with a 27% increase in April alone and the market is continuing to climb from that of 2009.

Sales have been especially strong in Park Cities neighborhoods such as Highland Park.  There has been an abundance of homes left open and available on the market for many, many months into years, and it appears that families are taking advantage of what has been a very grim past few years.
