Casa Grande continues to grow!

Do you live somewhere...a town or location that just doesn't have everything you need?  Maybe you have travel to a neighboring town for groceries, to go see a movie or maybe shop at a mall?  Currently, I don't have that problem.  I live in Chandler and have all those amenities very close to me.  This wasn't always the case with residents of Chandler.  And it certainly isn't the case for many of the 'newer' towns sprouting along the I-10 corridor between the Phoenix and Tucson metropolitan areas.

One such place is Casa Grande, located near the intersection of Interstates 10 and 8.  Maybe its because of this location that Casa Grande is growing and making serious headway into becoming more of a 'self-sufficient' town, if you will.  See this article from today's Arizona Republic.

We all knew Casa Grande was getting a mall.  But now the mall is starting to take shape.  Grand opening is scheduled for November.  A second phase is slated to open in the Spring.  There will even be a movie theater.  It is expected that residents of various towns along the I-10 corridor, including Eloy, Maricopa, Sacaton, Florence, Coolidge and Arizona City will frequent the Promenade at Casa Grande.

Hey, I will continue to welcome visitors from Pinal County into the East Valley with open arms :)  But at least this gives them them some more options a bit closer to home!

Thanks for Reading :)
