Major changes in a changing market

Wow, I am amazed at the major changes I have undergone in just a few short months.  First, there was the change to a flat fee service provider that really taught me a lot about being a buyers agent.  Then, the company was sold and the new owners changed some things and I relocated to my current office in Hogansville, GA.  New office, new territory, and a lot of self inflection.

Over the course of the last two months with my new company I have created a website.  Updated and launching our new and improved website for the office came from that step.  Then, there was the advent of a myspace page, yahoogeocities page, and now I am here blogging at AR.

The market has changed as well in the last few months what with all the mortgage tightening that has gone on and buyers in my area are feeling these changes.  For some reason though we aren't feeling the crunch to bad in Hogansville.  Everyone I know said "Why do you want to go that direction?" and I have to say it has been the best decision I have ever made in my career path.  Industry is moving into the area with the coming KIA plant.  The college in Lagrange is becoming more popular and the town council in Hogansville is putting on another great Hummingbird Festival this fall.

Change and growth is what we are all about.  Home is where we start from each day and without that home there is no heart.  I am embracing the change, loving the growth as it makes me stronger, and starting each day in my new home of Hogansville.  Learning all I can about this small town and its surrounding areas is something to look forward to each day.  Without these things I would be stuck in the same rut I was in and my business would not be growing by leaps and bounds.

Take a moment today to look at the major changes in our changing market and try to appreciate them for the new learning opportunities they afford all of us!

Linda, I think we all need to adapt to change these days, which seems to come faster all the time, in order to survive.

Lisa - if we fail to adapt to changing markets, changing laws, changing processes - then we are doomed.  This business is all about change - daily.  Ya just gotta go with the flow, learn, grow, dream and flourish.  Good post - thanks!

Changes are the only way we will grow and develop into better people.  Even when the changes are perceived as negative you can always find some opportunity in them.  Thanks for the post....
