Maria - His choice, won't fault him too much for that.  I just trust that the Celtics beat their keisters (Miami) in the Eastern Conference before taking it in the chin to a revamped Cavaliers, without Lebron.  I'm a sucker for Karma:)  Good for him, we'll see.

Lets see how good a job Pat Riley does with James in Miami.  It's Pat vs Phil!

Maria, I don't care much for the hype and hoopla he is making. Don't fault him for any of it, but we don't have to be too excited when there are more important things like.. health, family and paying the bills.

I am a true basketball fan.  Although from Texas, my team - you guessed it!  The LA Lakers baby!  I have been a fan since Kareem.  All I can say about 'Bron is, if it makes him happy....

Just because you have 3 powerhouse, blockbuster players on one team does not automatically say championship.  The Lakers are undoubtedly the smartest team in the NBA for the past 20 years, which is why teams try to emulate them in every way either by getting one of their coaches, players or past GM's.  My Lakers are watching and waiting to pounce!

If I were a young mid twenty year old basketball phenom, I think I would take some time to bask in the media hype as well. You really can not blame this kid for getting everything he can for himself. He gave his hometown 7 great years of basketball that they certainly did not have before.

Plus, just think of the tax savings he will get in Florida.

Maybe he'll hook up with Katrina and get a hot deal on a home!!

His decision was based on ego and greed.....................

I wish he would have gone to the Bulls.  Oh well.

Lets see, Lebron will save hundreds of thousands a year in taxes by living in Fl.  Sounds like a great reason to me!
