Options, Life is full of them.

By
Home Stager

In life we often have to look at our options and choose.

One of those options was to sell your home and you have chosen to do just that.

You have chosen a Realtor that you feel meets your needs.

It is time to prepare your home for sale.

You have looked at the options and chosen a Home Stager to advise you.

It is the Stager's job to present you with more options.

During the consult your Stager will look at each area of your home and advise you on how to prepare your home for sale.

If you find one of the suggestions impossible to do tell your Stager right away so that another option can be found to solve the issue.

You may have an issue with budget, man power, time, ability etc.

Discuss the fact that:  you have no help to make the changes

your child needs that item daily

you cannot afford to update lighting

you are unwilling to invest anymore into the house.

                                  you have religious restrictions

A Home Stager is a problem solver.

We are trained to come up with the best option that suits your situation and your home.

Work with your Stager and get all the options available to you.

Working together gets your home Sale Ready   and Sold.

We help alot of our clients with staging and decluttering for free- our hobby. We even have furniture and accessories to loan those who need them. You are right that staging is the key.

"A Home Stager is a problem solver." I love that line, Janice, and am recommending this for a feature.  So many people still think stagers are more in line with divas than problem solvers.

What great advice...tell us up front if what we are saying is not something you are willing to do.  There is always a plan B!

Like Lori, I have occasionally helped a homeowner de-clutter and stage their home for free in order to make sure a sale happens.

Staging a home can really make a difference--and knowing what people will not be able to accommodate right up front really is important.

Because one elderly homeowner quickly told us what she couldn't get done, we marshalled a team of helpers from her church family, moved lots of furniture to re-define some rooms, and shortly after that we put together a sale at the high end of the price range we had originally given her.

Staging and problem-solving working together...

Staging is an important part of listing process. Our brokerage has an in-house mortgage broker, and it would make sense to have an in-house stager too,

Lisa, that is a terrific story! Staging does work!

Thanks Roger!

Malcolm, I couldn't agree more! If your brokerage doesn't have an in-house stager you should find one for your team that you can rely on.

Janice,

I notice that all too often people don't really speak up at the times when it's necessary.

Barb,  clear communication is so important. People shouldn't think that Staging is only  about rentals. There is a level of staging that will help every budget.
