Northwest MS Foreclosure Report - Summer 2010

The above graph shows the Foreclosure Activity in the Northwest MS real estate market for April, May, and June 2010.  During April and the first part of May, we had many more homes go under contract which resulted in a depletion of inventory.  In the past couple of weeks, we have seen foreclosure inventory rise.

Foreclosures in Northwest MS represent less than 10% of all available homes for sale; however, they made up 1/4 of all homes sold during the months of April, May and June 2010.

Currently, Southaven tops Olive Branch as the city with the most foreclosures in Northwest MS.
