Little Lagoon is a small body of water to the west of Gulf Shores Parkway. It stretches about 10 miles in length and about a 1/2 mile wide. Gulf access is available to smaller boats from the lagoon through a small pass under the low lying Lee Callaway Bridge, toward the far end of West Beach Blvd.
If you have never seen the sun set over Little Lagoon, I suggest you book a unit at Compass Point condos with a balcony facing west. Little Lagoon is a great spot to fish for Spekale Trout and Redfish. If you are looking for a ideal place to kayak, Little Lagoon will not disappoint in that department as well. Little Lagoon offers a relaxing vacation spot and a great place to invest in real estate in the wake of the doom and gloom of the oil spill in the gulf.
