Make the Right Move!

It sounds like they gave you some serious kool aid. People will buy into green as it makes sense to unless or until the administration gets their behavior modification legislation through that sees to it that your water, gasoline and electricity are all so expensive that you have no choice but do what they want even though its all about another transfer of wealth and has very little to do with being green at all. If you're really wanting to be green tell me this? How many LED lights are in your house rather than incandescent or CFL? How much of the clothes you wear or made of all natural fibers. Do you have a TV, radio or anything else made with plastic, guess what? Just about anything you have that is synthetic can thank its existence to oil. There is absolutely nothing wrong with fossil fuels. There are only 3 types of green electricity available; Solar, wind or hydro. We're tearing hydro-electric dams out because the fish can't adapt and find a way around rather than putting a generator on every stream we can find. We don't really want wind because it makes noise or obstructs the view from our mansion on the cape and solar is still too expensive.

There are tons of good reasons to become more green, as the technology makes it more and more affordable to do so because its a good thing to do. I'm sick of hearing from the Chicken Littles out there about how horrible the planet is and we're all evil and big oil is evil and on and on and on.

Profit from my two decades of experience

Hi Rich-I think you know my feelings, I'm all about using less, either through behavior modifications or alternative clean power solutions. Good post! Keep up the good work.
