Hi John, Very nice photos, indeed. This is a Lilly isn' t it? It looks like it to me. These flowers are very popular in CA in cut arrangements. I am partial to the pure white ones. I grew about 30 plants in a perfect soil medium and I had over 200 blooms that were so giant sized and so fragrant that although I love them, the smell was overwhelming and started to make me a bit nauseous. Too much of a good thing to me is normally quite wonderful, LOL. I would do again anyway. I removed the bulbs after they bloomed to dry them and ended up giving them away to a friend of mine.
