Rib Fest - A Staycation Destination- Uxbridge, Ontario

This year the line up of events and features include a Midway, classic car show, Craft Vendors,  Entertainment, and of course 5 Ribbers for you to choose from. If ribs are not to your liking there will be other food vendors serving up scrumptious fair food such as funnel cakes, fries, hamburgers, hot dogs, onion rings, salads, candy apples and more. Come out early on Saturday or Sunday for the Lions Club Pancake Breakfast from 8am till noon

Friday, July 16 at  4pm to Sunday, July 18 at 7pm

Entertainment Line Up for Friday, July 16th - 4pm to 10pm

To start the week end off the fest will feature The Full Count Blues Band 6pm and  What About Bob at 7pm

Saturday, July 17 - 11am to 10 pm

Start your day early on Saturday with a pancake breakfast prepared by the Uxbridge Lions Club from 8:00am to Noon. Let the kids enjoy the midway as you wander through the crafters exhibits. Check out the ribs and other fine fare available to tickle your taste buds.

Saturday has a full line up of entertainment starting at 1:00pm. to 10pm enjoy the sounds of Grainne Ryan, Robbie Antone Band, Leah Daniels, MidLife Crisis 

Sunday, July 18 - 11am to 7pm

Sunday kicks off with Lions once again offering a pancake breakfast starting at 8:00am. Musical entertainment includes the Don Bowes Big Band and The Malcom Edwards Showband from 1pm to 5:30pm. Before you know it, it's 6:30pm and time for the closing Closing ceremonies.

admission and parking are free with donations accepted
proceeds used to to fund Legion initiatives

Kathy - I recommend that people in Markham who would normally attend the Markham Ribfest head up north to the 2010 Uxbridge Ribfest.  I just read that Markham will not be having a Ribfest in 2010 but it will be back in 2011.
