My dad would have been so excited. Wish we were in London today with my crazy Dutch family...or in Newfoundland with the crazier ones : )

I have been partial to the Netherlands since my college soccer-playing days and Johan Cruyff helped them win in 1974.
Hope you have a great day supporting your team. I really have no special interest in the World Cup, but know lots of people who are eagerly looking forward to the game.

Tanya, just a couple more hours to go. I'm getting excited, but I'm confident Holland can take the Spanish. I'm saying 3 -0.
Tanya, as the game progressed, I almost felt that it was inevitable that Spain would pop in the winning goal, but I was kinda hoping we could make it to penalties. When Spain got that goal my heart dropped to the floor.
Luckily I picked it up without too much blood on the carpet and now it's back to work. :-(
I'm sorry he wasn't wrong this year. Hope your family got over the loss, maybe next year.
