THE LUXURY MARKET IS HUGE IN CHICAGO -- SO HOW DO YOU CLIMB ON TOP OF 85,000,000 RESULTS?
I had a prospect come in my office a week ago. He wanted to beat the gigantic luxury real estate market in Chicago the other day. I get this a lot. Here was this real estate professional telling me that it was going to be next to impossible to make a dent in this market. He was worried, scared and frustrated. He explained that the Chicago Tribune had some of the top spots, he complained about PPC accounts and sponsored links..... and I agreed that these were all valid concerns.....
Here was the problem.... He was going after the big number.... 85,000,000 results on Google! Thats in the Millions... and if you know what you are doing it is possible to beat such a huge number. But its like a kid sticking his hand in the cookie jar and trying to pull out all of the goodies.... Its hard. Thats why you have to break this down into a smaller number that you can manage.
The number for Luxury Homes - Rent Chicago, is only 2,160,000.... and thats a number that you can beat in your sleep if you have the right stuff in your hosting account, and in your root directory. This is a powerful thing to remember. You have to break down the numbers and niches within your main category.

I must admit, the 10 Million mark does seem sort of intimidating. But you have to remember too that most of your competition out there cannot optimize their sites because of limited budgets, or lack of know how. We did a study last summer and found out that most sites in the top ranking positions are only optimized at 40%.... sometimes even less !!
So jumping over them is actually a lot easier than you think.....
Another study we did showed that people rarely clicked past page 2 to find what they wanted.
