Yellow Mums

Chrysanthemums, commonly known as Mums for short, are a beautiful and colorful flower. The plants grow about 2-3 feet high and produce a flower dense with petals.

I bought these yesterday and took them to an elderly friend. Her face lit up as bright as the color of the flower when she saw them.

Flowers are such a simple and wonderful gift sure to brighten almost any day. Mums are especially nice because of the bright colors and because they will hold their fresh bright look for quite a while in a vase of water.

nice flowers.  I'll see if I can get those in Florida.  I'm sure my wife would like them.

John,

Lovely photographs, and we do love those mums.  What is neat about them is that they come in all sizes and amazing colors.  They are one of natures delights!

I like the first two shots from the side best. We don't often view flowers from that perspective.

Thanks everyone. One of the things I enjoy the most about photographing flowers is the opportunity to capture their beauty and sharing it far and wide.

John...thanks for pointing out the side shots. I hadn't really thought of that before. I'll have to experiment some side shots going forward.

I enjoy them myself because they last longer in water than most flowers. Nice pictures.
