Want to save money on your Duke Electric Bill? Well, OF COURSE!!!
The Cincinnati Enquirer published an article this week about Duke Energy Retail (a subsidiary of Duke Energy Corporation) guaranteeing a discounted rate from your existing bill.
Yesterday we received a postcard from Duke Energy stating our home would save approximately $540 between now and 2011, so this morning we signed up online.
Basically the initial contract lasts until December 2011. You still call the same Duke if you have an outage, still get one bill from the same place, just 15% off the transmission and generation charges!
Go online to http://retail.duke-energy.com/enroll to sign up or investigate further. You'll need your meter number and account number. Both are available on your existing bill.
