Welcome to Shelley Lake and the Sertoma Art Center Shelley Lake is part of the Raleigh, North Carolina Parks and Recreation System.  The park surrounds the 53 acre lake.  The main entrance is off Millbrook Road in North Raleigh, leading to picnic areas, play areas, a 2+ mile paved trail around the lake, the Sertoma Park and Arts Center, a boathouse with rental boats, and a fishing dock.

And rowboats are available at the Shelley Lake Boathouse, as well as fishing bait.

Group activities are held, with lots of space to accommodate the public:

Shelley Lake is a popular venue for group events.  Raleigh, NC

Trails lead to the Raleigh Greenway system, and connect to the North Hills Mall area, Optimist Park, and north to Bent Creek.  The trails are an early morning draw for runners and bicyclists to work out before work.
