I received an E-mail from Terrence in Brookshire Texas this morning asking me if I knew how to apply for a job at the new HEB being opened in Katy. I wrote a blog about this the new store opening on July 6, 2010 and Terrence had read my blog. I sent Terrence an E-mail to answer him by saying that I had no inside information regarding their jobs but I gave him a link to HEB 's main web site. I also sent him an E-mail with a link to my Blog I wrote on July 11,2010 about a Job Fair to be held at Epiphany Catholic Church in Katy. Terrence Email back to me saying Thanks. Later today I stumbled into some more information about the employment process for the new HEB. That information is as follows:
Go to www.workatheb.com to apply online ( click on "Search for Jobs" on the opening page) as they are staffing for areas such as Market, Seafood, Bakery, Drug Store, Cosmetics, Pharmacy, Deli, Grocery, Produce, Floral, Self Edge, Receiver, Cooking Connection, Service, Gas Station, Day Care Floor and Bookkeepers. Full and part time positions are available. HEB states that a person has be at least 16 years old for checker and CSA positions. All other positions require a candidate to be at least 18 years old.
Along with Veterans, individuals needing a job and wanting to work have a special soft spot in my own personal heart. It is very difficult experience and time consuming effort to find a good job. Just ask me as I know all too well. There are plently of excellent homes for sale in the Katy Texas area as well as home to lease but a person can not take part in this situation if they do not have job...
