You are more than just a  well adjusted and dressed Real Estate professional. You are a walking/talking advertisement. Your peddling your first impression wherever you go. You are doing it whether you know it or not..

People buy from people first. Then, they want to know what you are selling. Your image is out there working while you stand idle at the grocery store, the office arena, the movies, walking down the street, recreational activities and yes...even on the phone...Your presence is at work

I want to emphasize courtesy and manners on or off the phone at this time. Nothing is more attractive than someone showing the proper respect and etiquette toward another human being. This opens doors.....very wide. THINK: Remember seeing manners being practiced by children? It melts butter in a cold room.......

If you have knowledge, then that knowledge has replaced fear. Fear of the unknown. If that is correct, then act like you own what you are saying and doing. Do this with humility coupled with confidence. But, do it with all your heart.

As you gain experience through life and in your chosen field, you will exceed "owning" the behavior and then qualify to enter into the MASTERY of it. This is also a very attractive thing to see at work in someone.

I have seen professional doctors, cooks, Real Estate Agents, bus drivers, teachers, car washers, baby sitters, check-out clerks, management in many fields, engineers, mother, fathers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins,  and the like.........People who know what they are doing and enjoy doing it and then repeat that process over and over and truly come to master themselves in what they are doing and continue to impress others while being of service.......whatever that is. Masters at work.........

When a person owns or masters his situation, often his silence is a valuable contribution.  Again, I reference that presence is at work...If that same person contributes just a little toward anything, it goes a long way. If they are in charge and have control, things really hit the heights and new standards and bench marks are set. People relax and thrive.

We are never at rest unless you are in for the night, in front of a good book or movie or just enjoying the sights until sleep is upon you. Until then, we are on, selling ourselves through TELLING which is what we are via our actions.

People who have and practice presence can walk into a room, not say a word, and that room and everyone in it

Whether we like it or not, once we put ourselves out there like we do, there's never a down time. Everything we do, or dont do is a reflection of us. That's why I strive to be the best whever I'm at - even when I'm not working.

You never know when you lay a good impression on someone.

Besides just "me", everything that has my name on it must be in its best form of presentation. Business card, website, car, etc. It's the WHOLE package.

The best marketing message is when most people dont even know they are marketed to.

People gravitate toward those that they feel not only confident about but also comfortable with. I chose my current doctor because of his manner and he has turned out to be a fabulous physician.  Realtors are often chosen the same way.  The impression we make on the public is critical.

Loreena....I was in Nordstroms the other day. This place prides itself on employees who all look good, have great attitudes and genuinely put the customer first. Then, I notice that the majority of the shoppers are sophisticated, above average shoppers who will spend money under the right conditions....The place just attracts people with presence....thank you for your worthy comment.......

Claudette....I suspect that you possess a great deal of those observations you have made and practiced....big chocolate covered PRESENCE bar coming your way.....

Captain Bll......we seek our like kind. That's what I like about going to Disneyland. Everyone there wants the same thing. Fun, leisure, cleanliness, memories, safety, and value to name a few. It promotes HAPPY and people wanting those things go there......

Hi Richie~  I especially like your response to #22!  I learned at a very young age that you get much further with honey.  Maybe being a middle child helped. I merely treat others better than the way I would want to be treated.  People do business with people they like.  People are friends with people they like.  Being like-able is easy and being true to yourself is even easier!
