Motorola Droid X Smart Phone, a Realtors best friend!

Droid X Smart PhoneI got to play with the new Droid X today and it's the best phone yet for Realtors.
With this phone I can now get rid of my Camera & my Nav system.
This phone has a great 8 megPixel camera, and built in Google nav system that better than the one in my car. This smartphone is also a good phone! It also works as a hotspot that allows me to connect my iPad and laptop computer to the internet. I get to purchase my Droid X tomorrow and pass down my old Driod to my wife.I hope she does not throw it against the wall! These are great phones but there is a bit of a learning curve to them.Pray for my old Driod.   PS..This phone can have 2 lines & the second line is FREE!

I have tried many different phones but I always end up coming back to my tried and true Blackberry.  It's the only phone that can keep up with the volume of emails I get.   But you have me curious about the Droid now so I'll have to try it out.

Christine,
My daughter has the  Incredible Droid HTC phone and loves it. It does have one issue. The battery does not last all day for her. She purchased a 3rd party more powerful battery and all is well.

Michael,
I had a Blackberry before my Driod & it does have the best email application.

One BIG plus I forgot to put in in my blog is the ability to have a FREE second line on this phone. I use it for all my long calls I have to make to the banks getting my short sales approved! Calls on this second line are free no cost, no minutes on my Verizon bill!

I'm seriously thinking of jumping to Verizon because of this phone. . just because it has a huge screen!

I read that this was Verizon's answer to EVO but isn't the Incredible similar to EVO?

Or is this bigger like an EVO?  I have never seen an Incredible...

I just opened and charged my Droid X-don't dare activate it until I figure out a few things-supra key access, contacts etc. (I still use the Treo 700P for the e-key app) LOL I'm SO VERY INTERESTED in that second line on the droid-I need it! Can I choose the phone number for the second line on the Droid? And, will incoming text msgs to that number come across? My oh My-I so can't be out of "technology commission" for even a few hours! Any and all tips/tricks/suggestions greatly appreciated! Julie (PS-permission granted for Treo 700P ribbing)

Supra key access will be ready for the driod soon I am told but not yet.
The Driod X is a Google phone and yes the second line is free via the Google Voice app.
Yes you can pick your own number and text will show on your phone for both lines!

I love my Droid X

I am getting a new phone and have considered the Droid.  Can you sync it with Outlook? That is my worry.  I may have to stay with Blackberry or a Windows phone to have access to my Outlook contacts.  Your input will certainly be appreciated.

Patty,

Both my wife and I had Blackberry phones that we loved but were swayed to the Droid last year at upgrade time.

We use all the google programs as they are good and free. Google calendar and contacts. We are not outlook users so I can't answer your question from hans on experience. But I did google Droid with MS Outlook and most of the links state it does.

Supra e key is now available on the droidx. I have it and it is wonderful. It actually updates itself everyday at midnight. My question is "Is it possible to access the mlx on the droid? I was told that you have to download a remote desk top system!!! Anyone have any info on this?
