A commentary by EXIT Realty Corp. International Founder & CEO, Steve Morris.
June 30th has come and gone. The first half of 2010 is over, it’s done, it’s finished. With this, you’ve either polished off your goals and objectives or you haven’t. If you did, you should be extremely proud of yourself and you should treat yourself accordingly. If you didn’t, go back to the drawing board.
Today’s thinking determines tomorrow’s results. Now, we both know that you’re interested in self-improvement. In this regard doing better is predicated on planning and preparing better. Your blueprint for the second half is your roadmap for getting the job done just exactly as you want it to be done. Clarity of direction is a major key to success in all that you do. You have to define what you want in precise terms and then reinforce this affirmatively. Your expectation comes from a well-reinforced deliberate intention and as you well know, you get what you expect.
Let the past remain in the past. Live more in the present tense. Your power is in the present always. You create what you want from the here and now. Make up your mind to simply do better. It’s a choice. Your choices predetermine your attitude, your aptitude and your altitude. When you make your selections, do so with absolute resolve. Your conviction makes all the difference. If you lay some serious demands upon yourself, such as being successful no matter what the market, you will be. It’s a matter of grit.
The next six months are filled with pure potential for those totally prepared to role up their sleeves and work. Make a decision right this moment that you truly deserve success and that you are well-prepared to achieve it. A winning attitude is always based on faith in ones’ potentiality.
To me, you are nothing but pure potential. Once you’ve got your thinking straight, I truly believe you can do anything you put your mind on. You can if you think you can. Anything you can conceive and believe you can achieve.
