Ashley Dupre to Sell Real Estate ?

It's a good thing Jeff doesn't work in Nevada! Ashley is tame compared to some! Between "Ranch Hostesses" Casino Boss Mistresses, and a friend and competitor of Heidi Flice, it's a real eye opener!

The last one scared me big time! I never would have guessed what she really did. I never met her in person, on the phone she was the most foul woman I've ever talked to. When she was arrested and on TV I couldn't believe it. If she were at a strip club men would pay her to put it back on.

I wouldn't want the notoriety of being their REALTOR, but their REALTOR wouldn't want the liability the mortgage broker faced with the last one! I wanted to fire my LO, but his Daddy owned half the company, I did put the fear of God into him, it lasted almost two weeks.

Here's something nobody addressed; what about your reputation in the community?  Do you want to be known as the agents who brought the porn star into River City?  Does that matter?  If it does, how many customers might you have lost from the knowledge that you represented the porn star?

For many reasons, people of a certain net worth and/or celebrity want their place of dwelling to remain private. A client that wants to keep their real estate transactions confidential needs to hire an agent that keeps their mouth shut rather than one who wants their own 15 minutes. LOL

As for Ashley Dupre, Manhattan Real Estate Salesperson? She already has one of New York's biggest real estate developers as a client. LOL. It's not always about what you know - but who you know... and who you #*@*

She would not need to become a member of NAR to sell real estate in Manhattan. NAR is in Chicago.

There are going to be people who want to work with her because she is famous, I guess.  I didn't know who she was until I saw all the articles about her. 

Some will be repulsed by her and others will be drawn to her.  Manhatten is big enough that I am sure she will find some clientele.

I can see where her notoriety would be an asset..as well as her knowledge. After, all, she passed her test, right?

Brian... time will tell... but there are pros and cons to this... as mentioned above, some big time people want their privacy.. you won't get that if you work with Ashley...  but then again, as mentioned, there will be some that would want to work with a celebrity.  I remember some local Eagles players and a Phillies ex-coach getting into mortgages... hoping that their name and fame would get them far... they didn't last long... only in the boom. It still takes knowledge... and yes, as you, I would in a heart beat.
