Working with a buyers agent - how to make the most of your time

By
Real Estate Agent with Virtual Homes, Real Estate

So you've hired a buyer's agent - how do you make the most of your home buying process? Open communication is extremely important in making sure that we find you the right house. A silent showing is painful! And just saying "It's nice" or "It's not for me" isn't going to cut it. I need to know the whys, what you liked and what you didn't like so that I can make sure I am putting the best possible properties in front of you.

Lori:  Very well done.  You have presented lots of great ideas to help your buyers help you... help them.  Nicely done.  I'm sure this will really make the time your buyers spend with you much more productive.  Take care...

I agree. I spent about 5 hours with a buyer today showing him ALL of the choices in his price range; fortunately he IS giving me specific feedback on likes, dislikes, etc.

Lori, sometimes buyers do not know what they want until they see it.  I have had buyers say they want one thing and then love something completely different once they see it.  Be patient with buyers it is a tough decision to pick out a new home
