Consistency in blogging.... I am still working on it. (The Sequel)
Consistency is defined as steadfast adherence to the same principles,course,form etc. Consistency,Tiger Woods says,has not been his forte in 2010-YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN. A lot of people can say the same too including me. Consistency in blogging hasn't been my forte in 2010 either. Even though I've made some progress,I'm still working on it.
But I am sure you want to know why you should always be consistent with blogging right? Of course you do. Who doesn't. Here are some good reasons why you should be consistent with blogging.
1. Being consistent with blogging can help build your momentum. This is very important for newbies. Some newbies start blogging here and they disappear. That's why all of us non Active Rain Ambassadors included should always reach out to a newbie and welcome them here to Active Rain. It will make them feel like they are not alone here on Active Rain. We have too much fun loving,very unselfish,caring,knowlegdeable Real Estate Professionals here not to give a helping hand to a newbie. I always make a comment on a newbie's blog. I also put a link to Active Brad's super blogs
2. Being consistent with blogging helps build productivity. If you are consistent at blogging and you are seeing good results,chances are it is going to motivate you to continue writing more blogs which can lead to you achieving great success that you seeked out to attain when you first started blogging.
3. Being consistent with blogging can lead to great leads DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU BLOG ABOUT. Even though home buyers and sellers come in all different forms,don't expect to hit it big quick if you are blogging about things that only pertain to you. While somebody might be able to relate to you since you and the reader/viewer might have something in common about what you just blogged about,most people who come to Real Estate sites such as Active Rain are looking for real estate advice from knowledgeable Real Estate Professionals on the home buying process,the home selling process,home staging,Getting a FHA Loan,FHA 203K Loan,VA loan,Home inspection and Appraisals. Always think of yourself as a News reporter reporting the Real Estate News for your Real Estate Market or Neighborhood.
Blogs as we all know with great content and good pictures improves your chances of our great friend Google crawling your blog,getting ranked very high in search engines and helping you getting found by a potential home buyer or seller. Provide great outstanding real estate service for that potential buyer and seller,guess what? MORE BUYER AND SELLER REFERRALS FOR YOU MY FRIEND. Google is a very good friend of Active Rain. Don't believe me? Google Tantallon on the potomac Fort Washington MD for sale and see whose blogs not only comes up on first page but who blogs is number one period?
4. Being consistent with blogging can make your job easier-Who doesn't want something to make their job much easier? I know I do. The more blogs you have out there on cyberspace,more time you have to concentrate your time on other areas of your business because your great content and great picture blogs is bringing in more business that you didn't have to get from Cold calling(something most real estate agents hate doing) and Door Knocking(Some people say that it is not effective).
Consistency forms habits and your habits will find what you produce. Build your success by being more consistent. Don't get discouraged or lose focus. And always keep in mind the big picture
