Raleigh NC State Farmer's Market

Fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, seafood, crafts, baked goods and much more can all be found at Raleigh NC State Farmer's Market.  I've been visiting the State farmer's Market since I moved here in 1995.  It was a favorite trip for my girl's when they were younger.  The  kids enjoyed seeing produce and other products sold in a open air market. The pride of the farmers and their families is evident.  Between the samples and not being able to wait until I get home I'm always stuffed when leaving.

The NC State Farmer's Market host special event throughout the year.
  • Watermelon Day
  • Pumpkin Festival
  • Strawberry Fest
Less than 30 minutes from Cary NC area schools and church camps are regular visitors.  Adjacent to the new NC State Lonnie Pool Golf Course.

Don't for get to visit the State Farmer's Market Restaurant, country home cookin' with the freshest of ingredients.

It's not a wonder why The Triangle Business Journal rated Raleigh NC the #1 city for Quality of Life

Gotta go, time to make Blueberry-Banana Bread!

Farmers Markets are one of my favorite activities. We have a local Farmer's Market each Saturday that I attend. It's as if it sets the tone for the week.

We love the State Farmer's Market!. Last year we also found it to be the best place to buy NC Christmas trees as well.

Farmer's markets are interesting - I hate it when they have to close at the end of the season

Hi Linda, Your Framers market is a significant Farmers market indeed. You did a great job capturing it on your video and this is a great hyper local post that everone would enjoy seeing. Well done!

Ok, now you have me craving blueberry banana bread. If I have family come to town, we always make a trip to the farmers market. It makes for a great afternoon.
