You have hired me to sell your Maine home, we have completed the pre-listing process, and you have signed on the dotted line. Now what?

The first week in the life of your home's listing is an exciting and busy time for me. I do love my job and this is my time to put the customized marketing plan we discussed into action. This "Week One Action Plan" is what will give us the best chance of selling your home for the best price and terms and in the least amount of time.

During the very first week of your home's listing for sale:

• I take and fine tune the marketing photos.

• I shoot and fine tune the property video adding music and voice over.

• I install the signs and lockbox.

• I enter your home's details into the Maine MLS complete with the maximum number of quality photos, a link to the video tour, and customized copy for the property description. Then I send the listing to you for your review and approval.

• I create a full color property email flyer and send it to all local agents, as well as my own database of clients and customers.

• I create and launch an individual property website to provide even more exposure for your home's listing and order special riders for the sign in front of your home to advertise the website address.

• I load your home's information and marketing material into my database system where it feeds to over 30 other real estate websites.

• I upload the custom property video to you tube, my website, and my blogs.

Then, I have a cup of coffee and give my eyes a break from the computer...

...OK, break time's over. Back to work!

• I visit your neighbors, handing out (or dropping off if they are not home) property information and find out if they would like to pick their new neighbors by letting me know of anyone who may be interested in your home.

• I write a custom article and post it to my realtor.com blog http://mainehomeseller.featuredblog.com.

• I enhance and fine tune your home's listing in realtor.com.

Finally, I make sure that you have had a chance to review the MLS listing, property video, and property websites, and we can discuss any comments or suggestions that you may have.

Yes, the 1^st week in the life of your home's listing is a busy one for me, but I have the tools and systems in place make it all happen in the smoothest and most efficient way possible. The next dotted line you will sign on will be at the closing of the sale of your home!
