6 Comments on Craiglist RENTAL SCAM * Can You See How I KNOW? (susan_paul50@yahoo.com)
Really? I see real clients with similar emails...my hubby always uses the year of his birth in his email. I'm really impressed you know this...glad you posted it. Scary to think someone would send money on a scam. K
Karen * these are FULL NAMES with progressive #s with the original poster's name from either the original ad listing or from correspondence from the original listing...they usually put in the CONTACT slot; however, I think CL is on to that part of the SCAM
I'm confused how you can tell this? Are you saying it's not possible for Susan Paul to have such an email address be valid?
Wallace - Excellent blogs. It is importsnt that those scams are exposed. Thanks for sharing a very helpful blog.
Jenny * this is a COMMON SCAM e-mail. I know NO ONE who uses their FULL NAME in their e-mails * for ID theft reasons if for no other reason
.....OH, and the property rental value is MUCH MORE THAN $1,000
It's going to get worse before it gets better. Scamming is too profitable. Just as alcohol was profitable during prohibition, and pot is profitable today.
