Ocala Night Bloomers.

By
Real Estate Agent

This night bloomer, which was still open early this morning in Ocala, made me think of Mike Jones because the blooms 'sprout' from a big, gnarly cactus, and Mike has posted some pretty amazing cactus photos here on Active Rain.

Here is something else you can see early in the morning in Ocala - - hint: horses on horse farms.

Those are pretty amazing blossoms, Susie!  Isn't it strange that so many flowers close up and night, while others open up!  I guess on the desert they become night bloomers to protect from the heat.

That is one of the things I really miss about FL. I used to have a big cactus garden. Miss the flowers...
