became a featured post. What an honor!
You see, my goal of each morning is to wake up, get my coffee, play with my son Travis, take a walk by the Fox River, get him ready for his first nap, and finally sit down for my first business ritual...Active Rain.
I have been as consistent as possible at blogging. I find things of interest to me, write about it, and post. Some days, I delve into my own knowledge base--other times I learn something new and report back to the world. Having the ability to blog has given me the structure and determination to continue learning.
The contacts I have made with so many of you has been invaluable. People like Charles Buell. Charles was the first person (and fellow inspector) on Active Rain to actually call me and welcome me to the site. His blogs are inspiring, humorous and sometimes really pretty. Leslie Ebersole a Saint Charles agent with Baird and Warner, who I enjoy working with tremendously and keeps me motivated on catching her in points. Finally, Gene Mundt who knows the financial business inside and out, has been extra supportive of my blogs, has lived in more houses than me and really should become an Ambassador for Active Rain.
