I have a HydroHeat Geothermal System in my home in south western PA; it is great! I know the initial installation cost is usually more than that of a typical home but the benefits you receive far exceed. My home is about 1700 sq ft above grade with a full heated basement, we keep the temp set at 73 and the cost of heating, air conditioning, domestic hot water, dehumidification and humidification run about $60. - $70. per month. When we first put it in it ran $55./month, but just like everything....inflation happens! It has definitely paid for it's self espceially compared to what we would have paid in oil...@ $3.00/gallon. We got our system through my family's company www.sperrydrillinginc.com if you would like more info on their systems. Those who have these systems know they are the only way to go.
