The sale of beer and wine in stores and by the drink has passed in Blairsville, GA. The sale of liquor by the drink has also passed! We are no longer a dry county!

Bob, This is a good thing (in my opinion) for our area. We were the only dry county in the surrounding area, so I think this will be a great opportunity to bring in new restaurants, etc.

None of the stores have started selling beer or win yet, it will probably another 60 days before the county begins issuing licenses.
